Regional Sales Manager-So Cal / SolarCity / HQ-Foster City, CA
SolarCity/HQ-Foster City, CA (Arizona/Oregon/Colorado)
Manage a team of solar sales consultants to achieve bookings and margin objectives for the region’s residential and small commercial markets. Provide leadership and guidance on all aspects of selling residential and small commercial PV systems as well as kick-off community programs in accordance to SolarCity business processes. Execute sales strategies, continually develop the sales team and drive sales performance overall. Build and manage long term key customer relationships/partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the regional sales team to meet goals and objectives.
• Develop each solar consultant’s skill and knowledge.
• Manage the sales forecast accuracy.
• Conduct regular sales team meetings and pipeline reviews.
• Drive improvements in the sales process and organization to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of team.
• Interface with Regional Operations Managers and other departments to support regional results.
Requirements:
• A minimum of three years of successful sales management experience in PV integrator, energy related, high tech or construction industries.
• Must have strong PC skills and experience with MS Office and CRM tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Presentation and demonstration skills also required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or marketing a must; MBA degree preferred.
• Good communications skills, leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team is essential.
• Competent in assessing customer needs, building relationships and identifying sales opportunities.
• Ability to work independently with solid time-management and organization skills.
